      《化学能源(英文)》(EnergyChem)作者指南

      【官网信息】

      Guide for Authors

      Aims and scope

The journal will invite review articles in all areas of chemistry, chemical engineering and materials science related to the design, production and use of materials for energy applications in a chemistry context, the priority areas include:

      Sustainable utilization of raw materials

Waste reduction, waste capture and recycling

Design of sustainable molecules, materials and products

Photochemistry - synthesis and solar chemistry

      Biomass, bio-fuels and bioenergies

      CO2 capture and utilization

      Catalysis and synthetic methods

      Energy storage and energy conversion

Whole life cycle of chemical products, from inception to disposal

Review articles in EnergyChem aim to provide accessible, substantial, comprehensive, authoritative, critical and balanced overviews of a field or topic in energy chemistry, including aspects of chemistry, chemical engineering and materials science for energy applications in a chemistry context. Reviews of general interest and with high potential for broad and high impact are preferable to narrowly focused ones.

The policy of EnergyChem is that the author of a review article must be a well-recognized expert in the field. In the introduction the scope of the subject area and the time period must be clearly defined. When selecting material for discussion, all contributors to the subject should be considered, though not all will be treated in depth, and the authors should not put an unbalanced emphasis on their own work. Review articles are targeted towards post-graduate students and researchers (in academia and industry), and should be accessible to readers working in any discipline and thus the presentation should be addressed to a broad readership. All articles should be as comprehensive as possible within the scope defined in the Introduction, but comprehensive does not mean a specific length or style. Review must provide a critical analysis of the field or topic and deep insights about the limitations, challenges and future directions for the field.

      Types of Paper

      Reviews

Review articles for EnergyChem are considered according to the following two mechanisms:

Proposal: Potential author submits a proposal via Editorial Manager using the proposal template, which authors are required to use. The entire proposal should not exceed five pages and should be submitted as the manuscript file. Authors must recommend at least five potential reviewers, who are experts in the field, at the time of submission of a proposal.

Invitation from Editor: When submitting a manuscript authors should upload a cover letter including a copy of the invitation letter from the editor. Authors must recommend at least five potential reviewers, who are experts in the field, at the time of submission of an invited review.

Manuscripts submitted without an invitation or an approved proposal will not be considered. All manuscripts will undergo a rigorous peer-review process.

      Submission checklist

You can use this list to carry out a final check of your submission before you send it to the journal for review. Please check the relevant section in this Guide for Authors for more details.
