      Droplet(《液滴》)简介

      Droplet(《液滴》)是由吉林大学主办,与国际著名出版公司Wiley合作出版的英文国际性学术期刊,是国际上第一本全面报道液滴/气泡交叉领域科研成果的学术期刊。目前为季刊,已经连续出版4期,主要发表液滴/气泡相关领域的原创性研究论文、综述及评论性文章,重点报道与液滴/气泡相关的结构、材料和系统设计、制备和调控等方面的基础研究及工程应用。现任主编为中国科学院院士任露泉教授、美国加利福尼亚大学洛杉矶分校C.J.Kim教授。执行主编由香港理工大学王钻开教授担任。

      目前,Droplet(《液滴》)已通过全球最具影响力的开放存取期刊目录(Directory of Open Access Journals, DOAJ)评估,正式被DOAJ数据库收录,旨在成为跨学科的高水平学术交流平台,展示液滴和气泡相关领域的前沿研究成果,推进国际科研传播与合作。

      SUBMISSION

      Thanks for your kind interest in Droplet. The submissions have to consist of the contents that has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of conferences or symposiums.

      The submission system will prompt you to use an ORCID ID (a unique author identifier) to help distinguish your work from that of other researchers as well as develop your personal profile in a worldwide platform.

      All the submissions will be performed and processed using ScholarOne online submission system.

      A cover letter should be included in the ‘Cover Letter Field’ of the ScholarOne system. The text can be entered directly into the field or uploaded as a file.

      The cover letter must contain:

      A statement confirming the paper has not been published or submitted for publication elsewhere except as a brief abstract in the proceedings of a scientific meeting or symposium.

      A statement confirming that all authors are in agreement with the content of manuscript.

      In addition, the authors should state clearly the motivation and the novelty of their research in the cover letter. The author also needs to clarify the key results and the advances compared to previous work of their manuscripts.

      Once you have prepared your submission in accordance with the Guidelines, manuscripts should be submitted online at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/Droplet.

      AIMS AND SCOPE

      Droplet is a peer-reviewed international and cross-disciplinary open access journal to publish reviews, research papers, news and editorials that involve droplets, bubbles and related topics. The journal covers the design, synthesis, fabrication, characterization, manipulation, control, application and commercialization of structures, devices and systems that involve droplets and related objects from microscopic to macroscopic scales. Subject areas covered include, but are not limited to:

      Experimental, theoretical and computational fluid dynamics containing droplets and bubbles

      Fluid-structure interactions that involve droplets and bubbles

      Microfluidics and nanofluidics related to droplets and bubbles

      Biomimetic surfaces and interfaces involving droplets and bubbles

      Soft matter and active material involving droplets and bubbles

      Droplet-based 3D/4D printing

      Water-energy nexus that includes droplets and bubbles

      Droplets and bubbles in biological and bio-inspired systems

      Thermal processes that engage droplets and bubbles

      Novel applications of droplets and bubbles

      Development and commercialization of products based on droplets and bubbles

      Droplet aims to provide an excellent platform for the dissemination of the cutting-edge research results in the general area of droplet & bubble.
