Guidelines for Authors of Combustion, Explosion, and Shock Waves

Manuscripts should be submitted to the editorial board of the Russian-language journal: Editorial Board of Combustion, Explosion, and Shock Waves, prosp. Akad. Lavrent’eva, 15, Novosibirsk, 630090 Russia; phone: +7(383) 330-1252; e-mail: fgv@sibran.ru.

The manuscript should be written in good English. Poorly written papers will not be considered.

Combustion, Explosion, and Shock Waves publishes articles, reviews, rapid communications, and letters to the editorial board. All papers are reviewed. A request for revision does not mean that the paper is accepted for publication, because the revised version will be considered by reviewers again and then by the editorial board.

The editorial board has the right to keep one copy of the rejected paper and refrain from discussions about the reasons for rejection.

By submitting the manuscript, the authors on a nonrepayable basis transfers the exclusive copyright to the editor for the whole term of copyright (in accordance with the legislation of the Russian Federation) to use the paper or its part (if the paper is accepted for publication by the editorial board of the journal) on the territory of all states where the copyright is protected by virtue of international agreements of the Russian Federation, including the rights for reproduction, dissemination, public display, translation to foreign languages and revision (and exclusive right to use the translated and (or) revised paper by the above-indicated methods), and provision of the above-indicated rights to other parties. If the paper is accepted for publication, the license agreement will be sent to the authors) for signature.

General requirements. The manuscript should be written in English and contain new results, yet not submitted to publication elsewhere. The manuscript should be send to the editorial board by regular mail or e-mail.

The authors have to provide the complete mailing address, phone number, and e-mail address, for the corresponding author who further bears full responsibility.

Full-length papers. Standard-size, doublespaced pages using 12-point font (approximately 300 words or 2000 characters per page); the maximum length of the full-length article is 24 pages (40 000 characters). The number of figures normally should not exceed 1012 (including parts a, b, etc.)

Reviews. The topics and length of reviews have to be agreed upon with the Editor-in-Chief of the journal.
