Articles published in Global Heart can be accessed for free by anyone, from anywhere. To cover our costs we have to charge authors for editorial and production services and indexing support. There is no charge for manuscripts that are not accepted for publication, and no submission charge.
Members of the World Heart Federation (WHF), and its membership organisations, benefit from a significant discount. This discount applies in case one or several authors of the publication is a member.
The current rates for publishing in Global Heart are the following:
•£1,350 (non-members)
•£1,175 (members)
•£850 for LIC or LMIC authors (status determined by the World Bank classification)
N.b. this is determined by the country of the first author on the publication.
