Veterinary Microbiology《兽医微生物学》（月刊）. Veterinary Microbiology is concerned with bacterial and viral diseases of domesticated vertebrate animals (livestock, companion animals, fur-bearing animals, game, poultry, but excluding fish) that supply food, other useful products or companionship. In addition, Microbial diseases of wild animals living in captivity, or as members of the feral fauna will also be considered if the infections are of interest because of their interrelation with humans (zoonoses) and/or domestic animals.

Veterinary Medicine and Science is a peer-reviewed, open access journal for the rapid dissemination of research in all areas of veterinary medicine and science. The journal aims to serve the research community by providing a vehicle for authors wishing to publish good quality research in both fundamental and clinical veterinary medicine and science. We publish original research articles, reviews, and case reports, along with editorials, commentaries and opinion pieces. Original research papers must report well-conducted research with conclusions supported by the data presented in the paper.

The journal regularly commissions topical reviews and commentaries on features of major importance.
