武汉大学《全球健康研究与政策》英文期刊为我国首个卫生健康政策专业领域的英文期刊，期刊创刊于2016年5月，合作出版商为英国知名出版集团BioMed Central。 2017年10月期刊纳入PubMed检索，论文摘要或全文相继被纳入DOAJ、Springer、Google Scholar等数据库检索。2020年4月正式纳入Web of Science (ESCI)检索。目前正在申报正式的SCI/SSCI检索。截止2019年底，期刊模拟JCR影响因子已达1.8，2020年模拟JCR影响因子已过3.4（已达SSCI一区门槛），2021年1月已正式纳入Medline、Scoups数据库检索。

期刊现已每月2-4篇连续不间断在线发表论文190篇，近3年来，接受率在14-19%左右。期刊网站累计下载量约为270582次，四年度累计访问量约为457881次，期刊可见度和影响力的进一步提高。

编辑部围绕“全民健康覆盖”、“中英全球卫生支出项目”、“新冠全球治理”，共组织了三期专题文章，获得了国内外同行的一致好评和支持。其中“中英全球卫生支出项目”源自中英政府间1200万英镑大课题，得到了国家卫生健康委项目资金监管服务中心及英国国际发展部（DFID）的大力支持；新冠疫情期间，新冠肺炎疫情专刊是最早向国内外同行征集且目前发文最多的英文期刊专题，已收到新冠投稿超百篇，已累计在线发表论文29篇，点击下载量达到数万次。

期刊国际化、专业化、多样化的编委队伍进一步扩大，期刊编委会成员已由创刊初期总人数27人发展到目前的总人数69人， 所在地区已扩大至全球范围内的18个国家，国际编委占比49%；此外，期刊目前正面向海内外优秀博士后，青年学者，讲师等组建青年编委团队加入到期刊建设行列之中。

Aims and scope

Global

Health Research and Policy is an open access, multidisciplinary journal

that publishes topic areas and methods addressing global health

questions. These include various aspects of health research, such as

health equity, health systems and policy, social determinants of health,

disease burden, population health and other urgent and neglected global

health issues.

Global

Health Research and Policy aims to provide a forum for high quality

researches on exploring regional and global health improvement and the

solution for health equity.

Article-processing charges

The

publication costs for Global Health Research and Policy are covered by

the Global Health Institute of Wuhan University, so authors do not need

to pay an article-processing charge for each article accepted for

publication.

When preparing figures, please follow the formatting instructions below.

Figures

should be numbered in the order they are first mentioned in the text,

and uploaded in this order. Multi-panel figures (those with parts a, b,

c, d etc.) should be submitted as a single composite file that contains

all parts of the figure.

Figures should be uploaded in the correct orientation.

Figure titles (max 15 words) and legends (max 300 words) should be provided in the main manuscript, not in the graphic file.

Figure keys should be incorporated into the graphic, not into the legend of the figure.

Each

figure should be closely cropped to minimize the amount of white space

surrounding the illustration. Cropping figures improves accuracy when

placing the figure in combination with other elements when the accepted

manuscript is prepared for publication on our site. For more information

on individual figure file formats, see our detailed instructions.

Individual

figure files should not exceed 10 MB. If a suitable format is chosen,

this file size is adequate for extremely high quality figures.

Please

note that it is the responsibility of the author(s) to obtain

permission from the copyright holder to reproduce figures (or tables)

that have previously been published elsewhere. In order for all figures

to be open access, authors must have permission from the rights holder

if they wish to include images that have been published elsewhere in non

open access journals. Permission should be indicated in the figure

legend, and the original source included in the reference list.
