  Prof. Michael Benoit and Prof. Lisa Tobber are seeking a dynamic and creative individual to join their research groups as a PhD student at the University of British Columbia Okanagan (UBCO) School of Engineering.

  They are seeking to develop novel applications of additive manufacturing (3D printing) in the field of structural engineering.

  Consequently, candidates should have a background in additive manufacturing, materials science and engineering, metallurgy, welding & joining, advanced manufacturing, mechanical engineering, or a related field.

  The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial spirit and excellent communication skills.
