The Journal of Neuroscience Methods publishes papers that describe new methods that are specifically for neuroscience research conducted in invertebrates, vertebrates or in man. Major methodological improvements or important refinements of established neuroscience methods are also considered for publication. Experimental approaches include molecular neurobiology, cell culture and slice preparations, membrane physiology, developmental neurobiology, functional neuroanatomy, neurochemistry, neuropharmacology, systems electrophysiology, imaging and mapping techniques, and behavioral analysis. Experimental preparations may be invertebrate or vertebrate species, including humans.

Journal of Neuropathology & Experimental Neurology is the official journal of the American Association of Neuropathologists, Inc. (AANP). The journal publishes peer-reviewed studies on neuropathology and experimental neuroscience, book reviews, letters, and Association news, covering a broad spectrum of fields in basic neuroscience with an emphasis on human neurological diseases. The Journal of Neuromuscular Diseases aims to facilitate progress in understanding the molecular genetics/correlates, pathogenesis, pharmacology, diagnosis and treatment of acquired and genetic neuromuscular diseases (including muscular dystrophy, myasthenia gravis, spinal muscular atrophy, neuropathies, myopathies, myotonias and myositis).
