Information for Authors

Aim

Journal of Zhejiang University-SCIENCE A (Applied Physics & Engineering) (JZUS-A) is edited by the international board of distinguished Chinese and foreign scientists, and is aimed to present the latest developments and achievements in scientific research in China and overseas to the world’s scientific circles, especially to stimulate and promote academic exchange between Chinese and foreign scientists everywhere.

Scope

JZUS-A covers research in Applied Physics, Mechanical and Civil Engineering, Environmental Science and Energy, Materials Science and Chemical Engineering, etc.

Indexing

JZUS-A has been accepted by Science Citation Index-Expanded (SCI-E), Ei Compendex, INSPEC, CA, JST, Scopus, AJ, ZR, BMTA, CSA (AHTD/AI/AP/ASF/CDCD/CE/CI/CIS/Co RR/C-WC/EC/EMA/MBF/ESPM/MD/MG/OA/OT/SS/WR) for abstracting and indexing respectively, since JZUS founded in 2000 and JZUS-A started in 2005.

Publishing Ethics

Please refer to http://www.jzus.zju.edu.cn/Policy.php Manuscript Preparation Authors are encouraged to submit their manuscripts via online submission at http://www.editorialmanager.com/zusa. The electronic manuscript should be prepared to accord with the following:

Title and by-line: Name, affiliation (institution) of the author(s), city, zip code, country, and email address of the author(s) should be given.

Abstract: About 150–250 words without mathematical or chemical equations or citations should outline the objective, method, main results, and conclusions.

Key words: Three to six key words or phrases for cross-indexing this article should be provided.

Text: The text should contain an Introduction that puts the paper into proper perspective for the reader, and should also contain Methods, Results, Discussion and Conclusion sections.

Acknowledgements: Individuals or organizations other than the authors who were of direct help in the work could be acknowledged by a brief statement following the text.

References: Only essential references (journal article, book, thesis, report, proceedings, etc.) cited in the text (in Author-Year format) can be listed in alphabetical order by author’s surname.

Contributors: All the contributions of each author should be provided.

Conflict of interest: The Conflict of Interest statements should list each author separately by name.
