The Eastern Buddhist《东方佛教》（半年刊）. The Eastern Buddhist carries articles on all aspects of Buddhism as well as English translations of classical Buddhist texts and works by modern Buddhist thinkers. This unique journal was begun in 1921 under the editorship of D. T. Suzuki. Although its publication was interrupted by World War Two, The Eastern Buddhist (New Series) was revived in 1965. After Suzukis death in 1966, the journal was continued under the editorship of Nishitani Keiji (1900-1990), Abe Masao (1915-2006), and other scholars. From 1998 to 2005 Nagao Gadjin (1907-2005) served as the editor.

Monumenta Nipponica《日本文化志丛》（半年刊）. Founded by Sophia University in 1938, Monumenta Nipponica is an English-language, peer-reviewed journal that publishes outstanding research and translations, as well as authoritative book reviews, in premodern and modern Japanese studies.

INDO-IRANIAN JOURNAL《印度伊朗杂志》（季刊）. The Indo-Iranian Journal (IIJ), founded in 1957, is a peer-reviewed journal that focuses on the ancient and medieval languages and cultures of South Asia and of pre-Islamic Iran. It publishes articles on Indo-Iranian languages (linguistics and literatures), such as Sanskrit, Avestan, Middle Iranian and Middle & New Indo-Aryan. It publishes specialized research on ancient Iranian religion and the Indian religions, such as the Veda, Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism (including Tibetan). The Journal welcomes epigraphical studies as well as general contributions to the understanding of the (pre-modern) history and culture of South Asia.

Early Medieval China《中国中古研究》（年刊）. Established in 1994, Early Medieval China is the worlds only journal dedicated to the transformative period roughly between the end of the Han and beginning of the Tang eras (ca. 220–589). This interdisciplinary, peer-reviewed journal explores all aspects of Chinese history, literature, society, religion and thought, and material culture of Chinas early medieval age.

Archives of Asian Art《亚洲艺术档案》（半年刊）. Since its establishment in 1945, Archives of Asian Art has been devoted to publishing new scholarship on the art and architecture of South, Southeast, Central, and East Asia. Articles discuss premodern and contemporary visual arts, archaeology, architecture, and the history of collecting. To maintain a balanced representation of regions and types of art and to present a variety of scholarly perspectives, the editors encourage submissions in all areas of study related to Asian art and architecture. Every issue is fully illustrated (with color plates in the online version), and each fall issue includes an illustrated compendium of recent acquisitions of Asian art by leading museums and collections. Archives of Asian Art is a publication of Asia Society.

South East Asia Research《东南亚研究》（季刊）. Published on behalf of SOAS University of London, South East Asia Research is an international quarterly peer review journal. South East Asia Research publishes papers on all aspects of South East Asia within the disciplines of archaeology, art history, economics, geography, history, language and literature, law, music, political science, social anthropology and religious studies. Papers are based on original research or field work.

Journal of Asian History《亚洲史杂志》（半年刊）. The Journal of Asian History, now in its 42nd year of publication, covers historical research on any period and all regions of Asia with the exception of the Ancient Near East. It welcomes manuscripts that make use of primary sources on any aspect of East Asian, South Asian, Southeast Asian, Inner Asian, and Middle Eastern history. The Journal of Asian History is an independent, international publication, printed in English, not linked with any society. It appears twice yearly and is published by Harrassowitz Verlag in Wiesbaden, Germany, with an editorial staff located at Indiana University.

Positions-asia critique《立场:亚洲评论》（季刊）. Offering a fresh approach to Asia scholarship, positions develops theoretical, philosophical, historical, and critical approaches in a forum open to debate. In expansive scholarly articles, commentaries, poetry, visual art, and political and philosophical debates, contributors consider a broad variety of pressing questions.
