Izhaja trikrat letno in objavlja izvirne razprave s področij primerjalne književnosti, literarne teorije, metodologije literarne vede, literarne estetike in dru­gih strok, ki obravnavajo literaturo in njene kontekste. Fondée en 1899, elle a demblée accompagné lorganisation de la profession dhistorien et a largement participé à la diffusion du savoir historique. Telle quon la connaît aujourdhui, elle résulte dune transformation opérée en 1954 sous la direction de Charles-Hippolythe Pouthas. Émanation de la Société d’Histoire Moderne et Contemporaine (association loi 1901), elle est publiée chaque trimestre par les éditions Belin depuis 2001, et est désormais présente à la fois sur le portail électronique CAIRN.info et, pour le patrimoine, sur les portails Gallica de la BnF, JSTOR et Persée.

Revue dHistoire littéraire de la France《法国文学史杂志》（季刊）. Fondée en 1894, la revue publie tous les trois mois un ensemble darticles et dinformations indispensable à tous ceux qui travaillent sur la littérature française du XVe siècle à nos jours.
