Southwestern Historical Quarterly《西南历史季刊》（季刊）. The Southwestern Historical Quarterly, continuously published since 1897, is the premier source of scholarly information about the history of Texas and the Southwest. Southern Cultures《南方文化》（季刊）. Southern Cultures is an award-winning, peer-reviewed quarterly of the history, arts, and cultures of the US South, published by UNC Press for the Center for the Study of the American South, where it is housed.

Southern African Humanities《南非人文科学》（年刊）. Southern African Humanities is a peer-reviewed, multidisciplinary journal that publishes research articles with a material-culture focus in Archaeology, Anthropology, History and related fields. It is concerned with southern Africa but encourages research that addresses broader issues. Research is defined as "original, systematic investigation undertaken in order to gain new knowledge and understanding" (as per the Research Outputs Policy of the Department of Higher Education and Training, 2015).

South East Asia Research《东南亚研究》（季刊）. Published on behalf of SOAS University of London, South East Asia Research is an international quarterly peer review journal. South East Asia Research publishes papers on all aspects of South East Asia within the disciplines of archaeology, art history, economics, geography, history, language and literature, law, music, political science, social anthropology and religious studies. Papers are based on original research or field work.

South Dakota Review《南达科塔评论》（季刊）. Founded in 1963, South Dakota Review is a literary print journal published quarterly at The University of South Dakota through the Department of English and under the sponsorship of the College of Arts & Sciences.

South Central Review《中南评论》（一年3期）.
