Slavery & Abolition《奴隶制与废奴》（季刊）. Slavery & Abolition is the only journal devoted in its entirety to a discussion of the demographic, socio-economic, historical and psychological aspects of human bondage from the ancient period to the present. It is also concerned with the dismantling of the slave systems and with the legacy of slavery. The journal publishes research articles, comments, reflections, review articles and book reviews. There are frequent special thematic issues and an important annual bibliographical supplement on slavery which provides the only comprehensive listing of books and articles in the field. All research articles published in regular issues of the journal have undergone rigorous peer review, based on initial editor screening and anonymized refereeing.

The Sixteenth Century Journal 《十六世纪杂志》（季刊）. In publication since 1969, the Sixteenth Century Journal (SCJ) prints twenty to twenty-five articles and over four hundred book reviews a year. The SCJ is dedicated to providing readers with thought-provoking research and inquiry into the sixteenth century broadly defined (i.e., 1450-1648). Our articles all maintain a strong historical core and cover subjects from around the world.

SINN UND FORM《内容与形式》（双月刊）. Seit fast siebzig Jahren zählt SINN UND FORM international zu den renommiertesten und anspruchsvollsten literarischen Zeitschriften. SIMIOLUS-NETHERLANDS QUARTERLY FOR THE HISTORY OF ART《Simiolus:荷兰艺术史季刊》（季刊）。Simiolus is an English-language journal devoted to the history of Dutch and Flemish art of the fifteenth to seventeenth centuries, with occasional forays into more recent periods and other schools. Founded in 1966 as an outlet for art history students at the University of Utrecht, it has grown to become an internationally recognized journal of record in its field, publishing contributions by many renowned scholars and promising young art historians.

Sign Systems Studies《符号系统研究》（季刊）。Sign Systems Studies is an international journal of semiotics and sign processes in culture and nature.The journal was established in 1964 by Juri Lotman (initially as Труды по знаковым системам – Σημειωτική), and is thus the oldest international semiotic periodical. Originally (until 1992) a Russian-language series, it is now published in English, and has become a central institution in the semiotics of culture.

Shenandoah《谢南多亚》（半年刊）. Shenandoah was founded in 1950 by a group of Washington and Lee University faculty members and undergraduates, Tom Wolfe among them. For a brief time it was primarily an undergraduate magazine, but under the leadership of student editor Tom Carter, Shenandoah became a quarterly, publishing a cast of international writers including e e cummings, Dylan Thomas, W. H. Auden, James Merrill, Ezra Pound, William Faulkner, and Flannery O’Connor.

SHAW-THE JOURNAL OF BERNARD SHAW STUDIES《萧伯纳研究》（半年刊）。SHAW: The Journal of Bernard Shaw Studies is the official publication of the International Shaw Society, which seeks to “provide a means for those interested in the life, times, works, and career of Irish playwright George Bernard Shaw and his circle to organize their activities and interests, exchange information and ideas, and promote an interest in Shaw worldwide.”

Shakespeare Quarterly《莎士比亚季刊》（季刊）. Shakespeare Quarterly (SQ) is a leading journal in Shakespeare studies, publishing highly original, rigorously researched essays, notes, and book reviews. Published for the Folger Shakespeare Library by Oxford University Press, SQ is peer-reviewed and extremely selective. The essays in our published pages span the field, including scholarship about new media and early modern race, textual and theater history, ecocritical and posthuman approaches, psychoanalytic and other theories, and archival and historicist work. Our mission, simply put, is to present the best scholarship on Shakespeare from his own period to the present moment. The published journal is available in print and online.
